Inside the Studio

Studio Flør × Foyos

During 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Foyos collaborated with Copenhagen-based creative studio, Studio Flør, to create a floral installation for our exhibition.
As part of the collaboration, we spent a day with founder and creative director Stine, visiting her studio to learn more about the journey behind Studio Flør, her creative
process, and the ideas that eventually came to life in the installation.

At Foyos, we believe the spaces where people create are just as interesting as the work itself. Through collaborations like these, we hope to spotlight the artists, designers, and makers shaping today's creative community, while exploring how adaptable tools can support different ways of working.

A Studio in Constant Motion

Studio Flør began six years ago as a personal passion project. After leaving a career in law, Stine started creating dried flower bouquets for friends and family. What began as a hobby has since grown into a multidisciplinary creative studio working across floral art, set design, creative consulting, and concept development. Walking through the studio, it's clear that no two projects are the same. Flowers share space with textiles, wire, sketches, and mood boards, while materials are constantly being moved, tested, and rearranged.

"My studio is my creative playground, I can move things around, experiment, and simply be creative."

Creativity Through Collaboration

For Stine, collaboration is about bringing different perspectives together to create something that wouldn't exist otherwise. That shared approach became the foundation of the collaboration between Studio Flør and Foyos. From our first call together to discuss the initial concept, to our personal conversation in her studio, and to seeing the finished installation at the Foyos exhibition, the project was built around curiosity, craftsmanship, and the freedom to experiment.

Creating Space to Create

Every creative practice has its own rhythm, and every project asks something different of a workspace.
For Stine, flexibility is essential. Furniture isn't simply something that fills a room, it becomes part of the creative process. Mood boards evolve, materials move, and the studio transforms alongside each new idea.
Throughout her work, Foyos' modular furniture supports that process by adapting to the way she works, creating a space that evolves with every project rather than defining it.
This conversation with Studio Flør marks the beginning of an ongoing editorial series from Foyos, exploring the people behind creative work. Through studio visits, interviews, and collaborations, we hope to celebrate the many ways creativity takes shape, and the spaces that make it possible.
