The Bench is not a piece of furniture designed for a single purpose; it is, rather, a foundation.
For work, for ideas, for everything that emerges when you take your time and have the space. In developing it, designer Mark Braun and his team turned to what is arguably the oldest archetype of a workbench – the planing bench – whilst also addressing the demands of modern living. The result is a thoroughly contemporary and beautiful workbench that combines functionality with architectural calm and robustness with design simplicity. A reinterpretation of the workbench. Crafted from solid oak, complemented by worktops with stainless steel or stone surfaces, The Bench is built to last. The construction is low-maintenance, easy to repair and so precisely engineered that it not only withstands strain but anticipates it. A table that does not need to be treated with kid gloves. But used. At the same time, The Bench does not impose itself. The design is deliberately understated, with clean lines and a calm presence in the room. The materials are of the highest quality. Everything fits together. In the workshop, in the studio, in the living space. The focus, without taking centre stage.
The modular system offers freedom whilst providing stability. Work surfaces, storage space, accessories and extensions can be configured, added to and modified. The Bench grows with your needs without losing its character. Order isn’t created by rules, but by a system that thinks for itself. The worktop bears the weight of projects, marks, notches and decisions. With every use, The Bench gains a history, ages and evolves. For people who have plans. Today. Tomorrow. Across generations.

MDF, hochdicht & durchgefärbt
The Quality
Through-colored wood fiber material. High-density at 780kg/m³, dimensionally stable and highly resilient. Sanded and oiled. No sealant. No veneer. Color and material are one. Edges remain visible. Signs of wear are part of the story and can be repaired. Sand, re-oil, keep using. Robust and individual.
The Care
Oiled wood fiber material is a healthy choice for living spaces, moisture-resistant, and sweat-resistant. It can be cleaned simply with a dry or slightly damp cloth and household cleaning agents. Signs of wear are easily touched up.
The Sustainability
Our wood fiber material comes from responsible, traceable European production. The fibers, derived largely from recycled wood, are impregnated with organic dyes and highly compressed with a special resin. The surface finish is REACH-compliant and can be refreshed or renewed at any time. MDF for generations.
Holz, formstabil & massiv

Dirt, moisture, and chemicals find no foothold. Scratches can be sanded out, surfaces refreshed at any time. Repairable, not replaceable. Ideal for high-use work surfaces.
The Care
Our water-resistant, durable, and hygienic quartz composite can be cleaned dry or damp. Signs of wear can simply be sanded away.
The Sustainability
Quartz composite comes from responsible, traceable European production and is made partly from recycled components. The material is extremely robust, long-lasting, and can be refinished at any time. Composite for generations.
